Conjuguemos: Tonight for homework you will be completing a quiz on conjuguemos. Instead of going to the practice zone I need you to go to the quiz zone and complete the quiz provided. Do not got to practice zone .
Make sure that after you have answered all of the questions you click the submit button. If you do not click the submit button the activity will not be sent to me and you will not get a quiz grade. Yes I am taking this as a quiz grade. If you need to make an accent type the letter or punctuation first then click the add accent button.

Today in class we took a vocabulary quiz. If you were absent you need to come and make it up ASAP! This quiz is worth significant points. It is your responsibility to come in and make up the quiz on your own time, advisement would be a good time to make it up.
In preparation for the quiz we completed a couple of activities from our book that you can do using our online textbook. Please visit page 36 of the online textbook and complete activity #15 Una persona negativa. Below is the activity that we completed in class that will help you prepare for the test. If you were absent please copy and paste this activity to a word document then complete and print the activity. If you do not have a printer you can copy the activity to a piece of notebook paper and then answer the questions. You can then bring me the notebook paper and turn that in next class.

To make a sentence negative in Spanish, you usually put no in front of the verb or expression. In English you usually use the word “not.”

No me gusta cantar. I do not like to sing.

To answer a question negatively in Spanish you often use no twice. The first no answers the question. The second no says, “I do not . . . (don’t).” This is similar to the way you answer a question in English.

¿Te gusta escribir cuentos? Do you like to write stories? No, no me gusta. No , I don’t.

In Spanish, you might use one or more negatives after answering “no.”

¿Te gusta cantar? Do you like to sing ? No, no me gusta nada. No ,I don’t like it at all.

If you want to say that you do not like either of two choices, use ni . . . ni:

No me gusta ni nadar ni dibujar. I don’t like either swimming or drawing. I like neither swimming nor drawing.
