This list of verbs must be memorized for this chapter. On 3 X 5 index cards please make flashcards of the following verbs. On one side write the English and on the other write the Spanish. Make sure that your hand writing is legible. If it is not legible you will not get credit for making the flashcards. The flash cards will be due 11-24-08 so you have the weekend to get them done.

To day in class we memorized the following verbs
hablar-to talk
mirar-to look at
buscar-to search for
llevar-to carry
comprar-to buy
trabajar-to work
necesitar-to need

All of these AR verbs are conjugated following the same pattern

first we take the infinitive Hablar

Second we cut off the las 2 letters ar
which leaves us with what we call a stem habl

Third we attach the appropriate ending

The finished product looks like this
