Today in clas 9-15-10

Task
You are a new student at school and have been asked to tell
the class a little bit about your likes and dislikes.
This task can be found on page 43 of your online text book! All instructions can be found there.

Prepare Copy this diagram on a sheet of paper. Write a list of at
least five activities that you can include in the three different ovals.
Using your list, create a poster or other visual aid to illustrate
the three categories and at least five activities. To illustrate the
activities, you can make drawings, cut pictures out of magazines, or
show photos of yourself doing the activity. Make sure that each activity
is easy to identify. You will use this visual as part of your presentation.
Practice Go through your
presentation with a few class
members. You can use your notes the
first time or two, but then practice using
only the visuals.
Present Talk about yourself using the visual you have created.
Remember to look at the Evaluation list below so you know
what you need to emphasize in your presentation. Be sure to
begin the presentation with your name. During the
presentation, try to:
• use complete sentences
• speak clearly
• use the visuals to keep yourself focused
Evaluation Your teacher may give you a rubric explaining how
your presentation will be graded. You might be graded on:
• how much information you communicate
• how easy it is to understand you
• how clearly and neatly your visuals match what you are saying
