To day in class we began our review for the chapter 4A test. This test will be given at the end of this week. We Spent the day reviewing for the test. The following notes need to be studied and reviewed before you take the chapter test next week.

You will also need to complete your speaking assessment with me next week. There will be limited time given in class to pass off your speaking assessment. You can always come in before school or during advisement to do your speaking assessment with me. What kind of questions could you expect to hear? The verb ir

The verb ir
• The verb ir means “to go.” It is irregular. Here are its forms.

yo voy---------------------------------- nosotros/nosotras vamos
tú vas -----------------------------------vosotros/vosotras vais
usted/él/ella va----------------------- ustedes/ellos/ellas van

• ¡Vamos! means “Let’s go!”

• When ir + a is followed by the definite article el, a + el combines to form al:
(vamos a) + (el parque) = Vamos al parque.
